About the position

The Taco Bell Restaurant General Manager is responsible for leading the restaurant team, establishing a positive work environment, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role involves overseeing all restaurant operations, including hiring and developing staff, managing schedules, addressing performance and customer issues, and maintaining the restaurant's financial health.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the restaurant team to ensure a positive work environment and excellent customer service.
  • Find, hire, and develop employees, conducting new hire orientation and training plans.
  • Schedule and deploy the team effectively to meet operational needs.
  • Address performance issues and assist in resolving customer complaints.
  • Manage the restaurant budget and financial plans.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; College or University Degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
  • Basic personal computer literacy.
  • Strong preference for internal promotion from Assistant General Manager position.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must pass background check criteria.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
