About the position

The General Manager at Boqueria® Restaurant is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional hospitality for both guests and staff. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant to ensure exceptional service and hospitality.
  • Lead and manage the restaurant staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of food and beverage quality and service.
  • Manage financial implications of operational decisions, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Utilize key systems and IT infrastructure effectively, including OpenTable, Toast, and Restaurant 365.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including maintaining Food Handler's Certification.
  • Organize, prioritize, and plan ahead to meet operational goals.

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in a General Manager role for a high-volume restaurant.
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Sufficiently technically savvy to become proficient with key systems and IT infrastructure.
  • Food Handler's Certification from the Department of Health.
  • Strong leadership abilities, including clear vision, active listening, and assertive communication.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and plan ahead.
