About the position

The Restaurant General Manager at Carrols Corporation is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a Burger King restaurant, ensuring high standards of service, quality food, and efficient management of resources. Responsibilities

  • Work a 50+ hour work week, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Develop and improve the restaurant's public relations through frequent contact with the general public and community organizations.
  • Communicate with outside suppliers regarding the delivery of quality supplies and repairs to restaurant equipment.
  • Maintain staffing levels through effective planning, hiring, and scheduling.
  • Supervise staff to ensure prompt and courteous customer service and compliance with sanitation standards.
  • Utilize company training tools to provide on-the-job training for crew employees.
  • Implement and execute financial controls to ensure proper accountability of company funds.
  • Order supplies as needed and maintain accountability for received materials.
  • Resolve customer complaints tactfully to maintain satisfaction.
  • Appraise performance of subordinates and recognize job performance appropriately.
  • Prepare projections of future sales and expenses to establish profit objectives.
  • Exercise managerial judgment in employee relations and personnel actions.
  • Complete and maintain internal records and reports as required by law and company policy.
  • Train and develop Assistant Managers and Manager Trainees in management skills and technical knowledge.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for all employees and customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
