About the position
The Restaurant General Manager at Popeyes is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a million-dollar restaurant, ensuring high standards of service, quality food, and efficient management practices. Responsibilities
- Work a 50+ hour work week, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Develop and improve the restaurant's public relations through frequent contact with the general public and community organizations.
- Communicate with outside suppliers regarding the delivery of quality supplies and repairs to restaurant equipment.
- Maintain staffing levels through effective planning, hiring, and scheduling.
- Supervise staff to ensure prompt and courteous customer service, product quality, and compliance with sanitation standards.
- Utilize company training tools to provide on-the-job training for crew employees.
- Implement and execute financial controls to ensure accountability of company funds.
- Order supplies as needed and maintain proper accountability for inventory.
- Resolve customer complaints tactfully to maintain satisfaction.
- Appraise performance of subordinates and recognize job performance appropriately.
- Prepare projections of future sales and expenses to establish profit objectives.
- Exercise managerial judgment in employee relations and personnel actions.
- Complete and maintain internal records and reports as required by law and company policy.
- Train and develop Assistant Managers and Manager Trainees in management skills and technical knowledge.
- Maintain a safe work environment for all employees and customers.

- Proven experience in a management role within the restaurant industry.
