About the position

The Restaurant Hospitality Manager at Golden Corral is responsible for fostering a welcoming and positive dining environment while managing the Front-of-the-House operations. This role involves leading a team of co-workers, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and driving profitability in the restaurant. The manager plays a crucial role in creating a spirit of hospitality that encourages guest loyalty and satisfaction, while also overseeing overall restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager and Kitchen Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Create a warm and positive environment in the Front-of-the-House.
  • Select and lead friendly and talented co-workers.
  • Manage human and financial resources to achieve a profitable operation.
  • Ensure food quality, production, safety, and labor standards are met.
  • Provide a dining experience that ensures guests become long-term, loyal customers.
  • Oversee overall restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager and Kitchen Manager.

Requirements

  • Strong, stable work history in management.
  • Experience in a high-volume, casual dining or family-style restaurant.
  • Education and training in business or hospitality, typically at the college level.
  • Successful completion of Golden Corral's comprehensive management training program.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
