About the position
Tempest is seeking an experienced host to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The host will manage reservations, greet and seat guests, and ensure that all guests' needs are met in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Managing reservations via OpenTable
- Answering phone calls and confirming reservations
- Greeting guests
- Seating guests
- Adapting to guests' needs
- Working closely with staff and management to ensure guests get the best experience
Requirements
- Experience in a hospitality role
- Familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience as a host or in a similar role
- Knowledge of seafood and beverage offerings
