About the position
As a Sweetgreen Team Member, you will play a crucial role in promoting the company's mission of building healthier communities through real food. This position involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing healthy meals, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Team members have opportunities for growth, with top performers able to advance to General Manager within 36 months.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide a best-in-class customer experience from hello to goodbye.
- Provide information on menu options and the company's food ethos.
- Learn the menu and ingredients; prep hot and cold food items for frontline and online orders.
- Safely operate kitchen tools and utensils; read and execute instructions accurately.
- Follow food safety standards and maintain clean workstations throughout your shift.
- Maintain the dish area, receive and restock orders, and assist with kitchen tasks as necessary.
Requirements
- Must be available to work a minimum of 12 hours per week.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
