About the position

This position is for a Restaurant Manager at a Jack in the Box restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing the overall operations of the restaurant, ensuring a 'WOW' guest experience through quality food, excellent service, and a clean and safe environment. The role includes training and leading the restaurant staff, building sales and profits, and ensuring compliance with all policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall operations of the restaurant.
• Train and lead the restaurant staff to deliver excellent guest experiences.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Set a customer service example by maintaining visibility and interacting with guests.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and complaints.
• Create a friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment.
• Motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance.
• Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees.
• Monitor staffing levels to ensure proper scheduling and service.
• Utilize management information tools to analyze operational and financial performance.
• Focus on increasing restaurant sales and profitability.
• Monitor costs to ensure adherence to budgets.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter who takes initiative and accepts responsibility.
• Ability to perform and understand basic math concepts.
• Good organization and planning skills.
• Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 45 hours per week.
• Availability to work any day and anytime, especially on busy days, including weekends and holidays.
