About the position

The Restaurant Manager at The Elkridge Furnace Inn and Garden House is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an upscale farm-to-table restaurant. This role emphasizes providing exceptional dining experiences, managing staff, and ensuring high guest satisfaction while promoting the restaurant's unique offerings and events.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations and staff management.
  • Schedule restaurant staff to optimize payroll and meet guest expectations.
  • Assist in hiring and training wait staff and server assistants.
  • Manage liquor ordering and inventory.
  • Collaborate with the on-site catering team for hybrid events.
  • Promote in-house special events and manage reservations using Toast POS and Open Table.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of wine and dining experiences.
  • Experience with Toast POS and Open Table systems.
