About the position

As an Operations Manager at John Fraser Restaurants, you will be at the forefront of a culinary transformation, playing a pivotal role in the strategic direction, operations, and profitability of a pioneering multi-use establishment featuring eight unique dining concepts. Each concept is designed to offer a distinct culinary adventure, ranging from casual to upscale dining, all crafted with creativity and dedication. Your leadership will be essential in shaping the guest experience, ensuring that every visit is memorable and aligns with the brand's values and expectations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our esteemed culinary team to refine and implement each concept's vision. You will apply best practices in hospitality management, overseeing everything from procurement to service delivery, while maintaining high standards across all venues. Financial oversight will be a key responsibility, as you will drive revenue growth and profitability through effective cost management, pricing strategies, and innovative revenue opportunities. Additionally, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and mentoring a diverse team of culinary and service professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence. Advocating for a guest-centric approach, you will continuously enhance service levels and dining experiences to surpass expectations. Administrative management will also be part of your duties, collaborating with the marketing team on programming and branded materials, and assisting with menu editing across all platforms, with proficiency in design software being preferred.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a senior food and beverage management role within a high-volume, multi-concept environment.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Passion for culinary innovation and a deep understanding of current food trends and consumer preferences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
