About the position

The Restaurant Operations Leader / General Manager at Gastamo Group is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of guest service, finance management, inventory control, and human resources tasks. This role is crucial for maintaining operational excellence and fostering a positive work environment for team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and a passion for leading teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the restaurant.
  • Ensure high standards of guest service and satisfaction.
  • Oversee financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Manage inventory and supply chain processes.
  • Handle human resources tasks, including onboarding and hiring new team members.
  • Maintain safety and compliance standards within the restaurant.
  • Train and develop team members to uphold company standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of restaurant management experience (required).
  • 2 years of General Manager experience (preferred).
  • Knowledge of restaurant software for scheduling, inventory, and POS systems.
  • Extensive knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • ServSafe Manager Certification (required).

Nice-to-haves

  • TIPs (Training Intervention Procedures) Alcohol Certification (preferred).
