About the position

The Restaurant Recruiter at Jack In The Box is responsible for providing strategic partnership services to hiring leaders across restaurant operations. This role involves representing the brand professionally to promote its employment value proposition and ensuring timely hiring of restaurant-level talent. The recruiter will leverage various sourcing tools and strategies to identify, interview, and onboard candidates while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support the timely hiring of restaurant level talent by ensuring necessary resources are available.
  • Leverage recruiting and sourcing tools to identify, interview, select, and onboard candidates.
  • Drive quality hiring outcomes using a data-driven recruitment strategy.
  • Conduct behavioral-based interviews to evaluate candidate fit for restaurant needs.
  • Establish internal and external business relationships to facilitate referrals and promote the employment value proposition.
  • Anticipate and address roadblocks in the recruitment process with operations leaders.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on restaurant recruiting for operations leaders.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to manage recruitment timelines and achieve performance deliverables.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience by understanding their needs and providing timely feedback.
  • Perform data entry into ATS and monitor recruiting metrics to ensure performance standards are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year recruitment experience, preferably in high volume recruiting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment techniques and sourcing strategies.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and experience with ATS preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and personal computers.
  • Competencies in cold-calling, networking, and direct sourcing.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and effective time management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with high volume recruiting strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and resume databases.
