About The Position

The Restaurant Supervisor at Great Wolf Lodge plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional hospitality by overseeing restaurant operations and personnel. This position involves scheduling employees, coordinating the work of restaurant staff, and assisting with various operational tasks to maintain efficient service and high standards.

Requirements

  • Some High School education or equivalent.
  • 1+ year previous experience in a food service team lead capacity or leadership role.
  • 1+ year utilizing Point-of-Sale (POS) technology.
  • Basic mathematical skills as they apply to cash handling.
  • Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with Micros POS.
  • Serve-Safe and/or TIPS certification.
  • Proven teamwork skills.
  • Projects a professional image that inspires trust and confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure operational execution by communicating expectations to Lead Servers and restaurant staff.
  • Provide administrative support for front of house operations including scheduling, payroll, reservations, inventory, and personnel matters.
  • Interact with guests and staff, providing feedback to ensure quality service and resolving guest concerns.
  • Assist with overall restaurant operations including Point of Sale transactions, expediting, re-stocking, and staff breaks.
  • Ensure restaurants are sanitized, cleaned, stocked, and set up correctly for opening and throughout the shift.
  • Communicate with fellow Supervisors across shifts to ensure successful operations.
  • Identify Out of Order equipment and report to Manager for repair.
  • Support management in staff performance matters including employee reviews and conflict resolution.
  • Assist with the coordination and execution of birthday parties.
  • Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
