About the position

The Restoration Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of a well-established commercial restoration company. This position is designed for highly motivated and proactive individuals who possess a strong background in sales and business development, particularly within the restoration industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales or business development, with a preference for those who have worked in commercial or residential restoration. This role is urgent, and the company is looking to fill it quickly with qualified candidates who can demonstrate their ability to generate significant revenue and contribute to the company's growth. In this role, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand the company's client base and increase market share. This includes identifying potential clients, building relationships, and leveraging a personal book of business to generate a minimum of $1,000,000 in annual revenue. The candidate will also be expected to utilize their knowledge of restoration processes and industry standards to effectively communicate the company's value proposition to prospective clients. The position requires a strong understanding of restoration construction, including fire, water, and mold remediation. Candidates with IICRC qualifications will be strongly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with industry-specific software such as Xactimate, DASH, and MICA is preferred. The Business Development Manager will also need to demonstrate creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while being willing to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the client base.
  • Identify and build relationships with potential clients in the commercial and residential restoration sectors.
  • Leverage a personal book of business to generate a minimum of $1,000,000 in annual revenue.
  • Utilize industry knowledge to effectively communicate the company's value proposition to prospective clients.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of Sales and/or Business Development experience, preferably in restoration.
  • High School Diploma, GED, Associates, or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with Xactimate, DASH, and MICA is preferred.
  • IICRC qualifications in Fire, Water, and Mold are strongly encouraged.
  • Experience in commercial/residential restoration construction.
  • Background in reconstruction and mitigation is essential.
  • Highly motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Possession of a book of business.
