About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves hands-on restoration tasks including water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire restoration, and asbestos abatement. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work on call, including weekends, to restore properties to their pre-loss condition while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Set up containment and drying equipment for restoration tasks.
• Perform water damage restoration services, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
• Conduct mold remediation processes to ensure safe and effective removal of mold from affected areas.
• Execute fire restoration tasks, including cleaning and restoring damaged structures and contents.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for various restoration projects.
• Clean carpets and upholstery as part of the restoration process.
• Assess damage and determine appropriate methods for restoring properties.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all job sites.

Requirements

• 5 years or more of previous experience in the restoration industry.
• Ability to pass a drug test and willingness to submit to random tests while employed.
• Clean driving record with no DUI and no felony in the last 5 years.
• Expert knowledge of water damage restoration processes is essential.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively for cleaning and restoration tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to restoring properties efficiently and safely.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license may be required for transportation between job sites.
