About the position

The Restoration Technician role is essential for providing high-quality restoration services to clients affected by mold issues, water damage, fire incidents, and other restoration needs. The technician will restore properties to their pre-loss condition while ensuring customer satisfaction, requiring a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Execute mold remediation procedures to ensure safe living conditions.
• Perform indoor air quality and air duct cleaning services.
• Perform water damage restoration including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
• Conduct fire restoration processes to clean and restore affected areas.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for restoration tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout all projects.
• Communicate with team members regarding project status and requirements.
• Document all work performed and materials used for each job.

Requirements

• Experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with water damage restoration techniques is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of fire restoration processes and mold remediation practices is a plus.
• Ability to operate various power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials.
• Ability to work in crawlspaces and attics.
• A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
• Must have clean criminal background (no felony convictions).
