Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents receiving restorative nursing.
• Promote residents' ability to attain and maintain their maximum function potential.
• Encourage residents to participate in their assigned programs with verbal cueing and safety precautions.
• Maintain documentation on each resident participating in the Restorative Program.
• Notify management of any changes in resident conditions.
• Implement innovative healthcare ideas to improve systems and processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Certified/registered in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 12 hours of continuing education to maintain certification.
• Preferred one year of experience in a similar setting.
• Knowledge and skills in basic Restorative Nursing principles and practices.
