About the position

The Retail Account Coordinator at Headkount is responsible for providing in-store support, mentoring Beauty Educators, and ensuring that performance standards are met. This role involves managing operations in both retail and home office environments, demonstrating strong leadership and problem-solving skills to achieve sales targets and uphold company values.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor Beauty Educators to excel in their role
  • Develop and maintain outstanding relationships with retailer employees, Headkount clients, and Beauty Educators
  • Conduct regular performance check-ins
  • Document employee performance and coaching
  • Manage time & attendance
  • Partner with scheduling team for necessary changes
  • Ensure company, brand, and retailer standards are met
  • Partner with supervisor and HR to handle escalations in a timely manner
  • Achieve sales goals
  • Complete detailed in-store surveys after every shift
  • Communicate with the Headkount team by staying up to date on the Headkount app

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing people
  • 4 years of experience working for a beauty brand or major beauty retailer
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Professional conduct in-store
  • Excellent brand and product education & training skills
  • Technology skills: video calls, phone calls, text messages, smart phone applications
