About the position

Elavon, a leader in payment solutions and a subsidiary of U.S. Bank, is seeking an outside Retail Account Executive to develop new business account relationships in the Southwest and Southeast Houston, TX market. This role focuses on building and growing relationships with Regions Merchant Services, leveraging warm leads provided by bank partners, and selling Merchant Services to small and medium-sized businesses. The position offers a base salary, commission plan, and travel reimbursement, with a strong emphasis on relationship building and sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow Regions Merchant Services relationship with consistent referral production.
  • Utilize and update Salesforce as a CRM tool daily.
  • Develop profitable new business account relationships and increase profitability from existing accounts by selling Merchant Services.
  • Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services.
  • Learn and develop expert-level knowledge of company products and services.
  • Present to prospective clients, informing them of the benefits of using the organization's products and services.
  • Implement and maintain an effective referral network and call program to promote sales.
  • Receive guidance and training in a remote environment and achieve daily objectives set by the manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Two to three years of relevant sales experience.
  • Ability to travel 3-4 days per week in market (no overnight required).
