About the position

The Relief Retail Account Manager at State Distributing Company is responsible for managing customer accounts in the absence of the full-time Retail Account Manager. This role focuses on selling, ordering, and merchandising products, while ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining strong relationships with clients. The position requires a proactive approach to identify sales opportunities and communicate effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Cover the roles of the full-time Retail Account Manager when unavailable.
• Sell, order, and merchandise brands in assigned customer accounts.
• Provide outstanding customer service and product knowledge.
• Stock and merchandise products effectively in retail locations.
• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with assigned customers.
• Identify selling opportunities and communicate them to customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of sales experience required.
• Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Strong communication skills in English required.
• Ability to operate applicable company vehicles with a clean driving record.
• Leadership skills to manage customer relationships effectively.
