About the position

The Retail Account Manager at Trillium is responsible for leading the retail program for one of the company's largest national clients. This role requires a high-energy, resourceful individual who can effectively maintain client relationships, mentor team members, and manage multiple fast-paced projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, technical expertise in building construction, and the ability to navigate brand standards while ensuring project deadlines are met with high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain client relationships effectively while building trust and loyalty and directing the decision-making process.
  • Mentor and motivate employees to reach their highest potential through exploring opportunities for growth and learning in design, technical, and leadership skills.
  • Manage client, team, project coordination, and communication for multiple fast-paced projects at a given time.
  • Exhibit advanced technical problem-solving capabilities regarding building construction and technologies.
  • Manage program finances including fees, contracts, and internal and external budgets.
  • Ensure the account's project teams meet deadlines with high quality, thoughtful solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead in-house team with preparation of existing conditions site surveys and full entitlements code and accessibility reviews as part of due diligence.
  • Manage preparation of design development and construction documents with project team, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Successfully navigate building and zoning departments regarding project approvals.
  • Oversee construction phase services and project close-out.

Requirements

  • Professional degree in Architecture.
  • Architecture Licensure preferred.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience, including recent experience with retail projects.
  • Experience leading interiors and architectural projects.
  • Client Services Experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.

Nice-to-haves

  • LEED AP accreditation a plus.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, and Microsoft Office preferred.
