About the position

The Retail Allocations Analyst at Reyn Spooner is responsible for executing the Allocation Strategy set by the VP of Retail and Supply Planner. This role focuses on optimizing merchandise allocation and inventory management across retail stores to maximize sales. The analyst works closely with the Planning team and collaborates with Retail Store and Operations teams, ensuring efficient stock distribution and alignment with sales trends.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales data, trends, and store performance to allocate stock efficiently.
• Collaborate with Planning, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to ensure the right products are in the right stores at the right time.
• Assess current and upcoming supply needs for each store and recommend future allocations and transfer plans.
• Adjust allocation strategies based on sales performance and monitor revisions in accordance with reforecasting.
• Prepare initial stock orders for store openings and product launches, calculating stock needs for each store.
• Execute the weekly Replenishment process and investigate the root cause of overstocks and out of stocks.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience as a Retail Allocation Analyst.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookups, and @sumifs.
• ERP experience, ideally with Full Circle or similar system.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data management tools and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Experience working in a retail store environment is highly valuable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• A curious mindset with a drive to understand operational processes.
• A strong passion for fashion.
