About the position

The Retail Planner is responsible for inventory management and replenishment for CertainTeed Siding Products Group's retail customers. This role involves planning and managing inventory for finished goods sold to retail customers, maintaining MRP parameters, monitoring inventory and demand, and creating purchase recommendations to achieve desired inventory levels. The position requires high coordination with customers, management of consigned inventory, and continuous improvement of the ordering process. Additionally, the Retail Planner supports the Demand Planning process by generating forecasts and leading demand review meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and replenishment for retail customers of CertainTeed Siding Products Group.
• Maintain MRP parameters and monitor inventory and demand.
• Create purchase recommendations and purchase orders to achieve consigned inventory levels.
• Review and maintain Min-Max levels of inventory for each SKU under consignment.
• Obtain inventory reports and create orders to replenish consigned inventory.
• Travel to customers' Distribution Centers to perform physical inventory counts and reconcile differences.
• Create, manage, update, and publish key metrics related to Retail Customers.
• Support the Demand Planning process by generating forecasts and leading demand review meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field required.
• Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• APICS CPIM and/or CPSM certification preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in Production Planning, Inventory Management, and Demand Planning required.
