About the position

The Retail Assistant Manager at 7-Eleven plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Leader by overseeing store operations, providing customer service leadership, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees alongside the Store Leader.
• Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Handle cash transactions and promote the 7Rewards loyalty program.
• Ensure compliance with health and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and presentable store.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred, or at least one year of Retail Management experience.
• Valid Driver's License from the state of residence with automotive liability insurance during employment.
• Experience in supervising and managing a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience in cash handling and fuel transactions.
