About the position

The Retail Assistant Manager at Bob's Discount Furniture plays a crucial role in ensuring store performance aligns with the company's core values and vision. The Retail Assistant Manager is responsible for inventory integrity, safety compliance, and the overall management of the store, including recruiting and training staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee store backend operations and logistics to meet operational goals.
  • Manage and motivate a team of Retail Guest Experience Specialists.
  • Drive sales engagement and customer experience on the sales floor.
  • Ensure showroom readiness and maintain facility standards.
  • Conduct regular department meetings to review progress and company initiatives.
  • Complete annual reviews and assess associate performance.
  • Recruit, hire, and train direct report associates.
  • Analyze reports to maximize operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Enforce safety and company policies, taking corrective action as needed.
