About the position

The Retail Assistant Manager at Dynamic Journey LLC is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the retail store. Responsibilities

• Assist in managing store operations and staff to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Oversee cash register operations, ensuring accurate transactions and proper cash handling procedures.
• Support inventory management by conducting regular stock counts, organizing merchandise, and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing and scheduling staff shifts.
• Train and mentor new employees on store policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement promotional strategies and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for effective inventory management.
• Proficient in cash register operations and basic math skills for accurate financial transactions.
• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus to enhance communication with diverse customers.
• Familiarity with payroll processes is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by store needs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster a positive team atmosphere and engage customers effectively.
