About the position

The Retail Assistant Store Manager at PUMA's Las Vegas flagship store is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences while achieving sales and profitability goals. This role involves managing store operations, assisting in employee recruitment and training, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The Assistant Store Manager will also act as Co-Manager in the absence of the Co-Manager, oversee loss prevention programs, and collaborate with marketing efforts to enhance store performance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistently high standards of customer experience within the Store in accordance with PUMA's Brand Values and service standards.
  • Ensure the Store consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs, and profitability goals through effective planning and expense control.
  • Assist the Co-Manager with the recruitment, training, development, and succession of high-performing employees.
  • Manage payroll control and service-driven scheduling to maintain profitability while providing high levels of service.
  • Act as Co-Manager when the Co-Manager is away from the store.
  • Manage and monitor Loss Prevention education and awareness programs.
  • Comply with all Policies & Procedures, operational core competencies, and key accountabilities.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant working and shopping environment.
  • Assist in managing and executing all event and marketing opportunities in partnership with the Marketing Manager.
  • Manage and maintain all sports interactive activation zones within the store.
  • Effectively manage all aspects of the customization area to ensure outstanding customer experiences.
  • Attend off-site training and position-related meetings as required.

Requirements

  • 4 - 6 years of store management experience in a high-volume flagship store.
  • Proven ability to exceed sales goals and present information to large groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, hire, train, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • Ability to lift/carry, push/pull up to 30 pounds regularly.

Benefits

  • Base pay of $25.00-$28.00 per hour + Bonus + Benefits
  • Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
