About the position

Luke & Co. Fine Pet Supply & Outfitter is seeking a full-time Retail Associate/Customer Service representative who is passionate about pets and pet nutrition. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product knowledge, and making deliveries of pet food. The position offers a friendly, non-corporate work environment and the opportunity to work closely with the owner for training and development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to all customers.
• Assist customers with product knowledge and recommendations.
• Make deliveries of pet food 2-3 days per week using your own vehicle.
• Maintain a clean and well-kept appearance while on the job.
• Learn about the 2300+ products offered in the store.
• Stand for 4-6 hours at a time during shifts.
• Work weekends and evenings as needed.

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Must have problem-solving skills.
• Must be proficient with Windows and a modern Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Must be able to lift 51 lbs (e.g., horse feed, dog food).
• Must have a valid Driver's License and carry your own insurance and registration.
• Must be punctual and dedicated.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with scheduling appointments (e.g., at a hair salon, spa, or dog grooming facility).
• Experience in the pet industry.
• Some management experience.
