About the position

The Retail Associate at Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana plays a vital role in supporting the store management team to achieve operational goals. This part-time position involves various responsibilities, including cashier duties, sorting and processing donations, and managing eCommerce items. The Retail Associate is expected to maintain a clean and organized sales floor while providing excellent customer service and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reaching operational goals by performing various roles within the retail location.
• Ring up customer orders and maintain a balanced cash drawer as a cashier.
• Provide information about Goodwill programs to customers and direct higher-level inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Sort and process donations, ensuring cleanliness and organization at the donation door.
• Identify and secure valuable items for eCommerce and manage inventory for ClickGoodwill.
• Scan and categorize books for sale or eCommerce, ensuring effective displays in-store.
• Maintain a clean and orderly sales floor, including stocking shelves and managing carts.
