About the position
The Summer Retail Sales Associate at IMG Academy is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and achieving operational excellence in a retail environment. This role involves greeting customers, processing sales transactions, maintaining store standards, and assisting with merchandising and inventory management. The position is integral to enhancing customer satisfaction and supporting the overall brand experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet all customers and process sales transactions accurately.
- Maintain floor standards and customer service standards.
- Assist with proper merchandising execution to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Develop floor standards, visual merchandising, and sales techniques.
- Provide excellent service consistent with the property’s core service standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized selling area and replenish stock as needed.
- Follow cash handling procedures and complete settlement forms.
- Suggest items and quantities for re-order and assist with inventory management.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- One year of retail cash handling experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to deal with business contacts.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues.
