The Retail Associate will develop a deep familiarity with the Duluth brand and possess comprehensive product knowledge to provide solution-oriented and friendly service to customers. Understanding that the customer is at the heart of all operations is crucial, and the associate will layer personalized service into every interaction, from greeting customers to assisting them in the fitting room and at the register. The Retail Associate will effectively communicate sales and promotions, recognizing the importance of capturing customer emails as part of the sales process. They will be empowered to respond proactively to customer concerns, ensuring positive resolutions. Additionally, the associate will handle telephone inquiries in a courteous manner, providing store greetings, directions, and assistance with customer orders. Responsibilities also include receiving, processing, and replenishing merchandise, maintaining merchandising and presentation standards, and ensuring the sales floor is always customer-ready. The associate will adhere to company standards for cleanliness across various areas of the store, accurately process register transactions, and follow all company policies and procedures. This position requires a commitment to performing any other duties as directed by management, showcasing flexibility and a team-oriented mindset. The Retail Associate will take pride in their work, demonstrating ownership of their responsibilities and operating with integrity and trust. Responsibilities

• Develop an exceptional familiarity with the Duluth brand and comprehensive product knowledge to provide solution-oriented, friendly service to customers.
• Understand how to layer personalized service into each area of interaction from greeting to fitting room to register.
• Effectively communicate sales and promotions.
• Understand the importance of email capture as part of sales and service and execute to standard.
• Respond proactively and be empowered to provide positive resolutions to customer concerns.
• Answer telephone in a courteous and friendly manner, including store greetings, directions to store location, and receiving and filling customer orders.
• Assist in receiving, processing, and replenishing merchandise.
• Maintain merchandising, presentation, and display standards. Ensure the sales floor is customer ready.
• Ensure company standards for cleanliness for the sales floor, stockroom, restrooms, cash wrap, and hospitality area.
• Accurately and efficiently process all register transactions.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices.
• Perform any other duties as directed by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.
