About the position

The Retail Associate position at Jubilee Ministries is a part-time role focused on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the store. The associate will be responsible for operating the register, assisting customers, and managing donations while adhering to the organization's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent customer service experience for everyone who enters the store or visits the dock.
• Operate the register.
• Monitor customer activity in the store, paying special attention for shoplifters.
• Assist in keeping the store clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assist with other tasks to keep the store running smoothly.
• Participate in staff meetings and team building activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in a retail environment.
• Good mathematical skills to count out change.
• Ability to be courteous and sociable to customers and relate well with people.
• Ability to recognize and follow store policies.
