About the position
Larsen's Original Bakery is seeking a part-time seasonal Retail Bakery Clerk / Barista to join our busy bakery counter. This role involves providing excellent customer service, handling cash transactions, and preparing espresso drinks. The ideal candidate will have a friendly personality and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during weekends.
Responsibilities
- Setting up the display cases
- Providing customer service with attention to detail
- Assisting customers with personalized cake and special orders
- Packaging baked goods for retail consumption
- Making espresso drinks
- Keeping the front end of the bakery clean at all times
- Completing tasks, logs, and/or closing checklist every day
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Valid King County food handler's permit is required
- Experience in guest services (1 year required)
- Barista experience (1 year preferred)
- Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 30 LBS
- Reliability and responsibility in a fast-paced environment
