The Retail Banker I serves as a customer liaison, playing a crucial role in delivering TD's brand promise by providing financial expertise and consultative advice to customers regarding their banking needs. This position is focused on achieving business objectives through identifying appropriate TD solutions that help customers meet their financial goals and enhance their relationship with the bank. The role requires proficiency in banking products and services, ensuring a positive customer experience while engaging in sales activities and customer outreach.

Responsibilities

• Act as a customer liaison to deliver TD's brand promise.
• Utilize financial expertise to advise customers on banking solutions.
• Identify opportunities to educate customers on bank products and services.
• Make product recommendations based on customer needs.
• Utilize Customer Relationship Management tools for customer assessments and sales activities.
• Evaluate issues and problems based on existing precedents or procedures.
• Engage in customer outreach and advice activities.
• Facilitate loan product applications and maintain NMLS registration.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of related experience required.
• Teller experience preferred.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, concise and clear.
• Ability to schedule and prioritize work effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Sound judgment in decision making and effective problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
