About the position

The Retail Banker I serves as a vital customer liaison at TD, responsible for delivering exceptional banking solutions and advice to customers. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, promoting bank products, and ensuring a positive customer experience while contributing to the bank's growth objectives. The position requires proficiency in banking products and services, effective communication skills, and the ability to build strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Act as a customer liaison to deliver TD's brand promise through financial expertise and consultative advice.
• Educate customers on banking products and services, identifying opportunities for referrals to appropriate team members.
• Utilize Customer Relationship Management tools to assess customer needs and proactively identify solutions.
• Engage in customer outreach and advice activities to enhance customer relationships and satisfaction.
• Facilitate loan product applications and maintain active registration with NMLS.
• Participate in team activities to promote a positive work environment and support business objectives.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of related experience required, preferably in a teller role.
• Superior customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to be concise and clear.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Teller experience preferred.
• Notary License preferred.
