The Retail Banker I serves as a customer liaison, playing a crucial role in delivering TD's brand promise by providing financial expertise and consultative advice. This position focuses on advising customers regarding their banking needs and solutions, contributing to business objectives and customer satisfaction. The role requires proficiency in banking products and services, ensuring a positive customer experience while identifying opportunities for growth and relationship optimization.
Responsibilities
- Act as a customer liaison to deliver TD's brand promise through financial expertise and consultative advice.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking solutions to help them achieve their financial goals.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management tools to assess customer needs and lead outbound sales activities.
- Engage in customer outreach and provide advice to enhance customer relationships and satisfaction.
- Facilitate loan product applications and maintain active registration with NMLS.
- Participate in team activities to support a positive work environment and enhance service delivery.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years of related experience required, preferably in a teller role.
- Superior customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to be concise and clear.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Nice-to-haves
- Teller experience preferred.
- Notary License preferred.
