About the position

The Retail Banking Center Distribution Strategy and Analytics Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and analysis of national retail banking center distribution and workforce planning. This role involves strategic decision-making regarding banking center operations, including expansion, relocation, and closure, while ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing business performance and customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing national banking center footprint of approximately 400 locations, identifying opportunities to optimize business performance and customer experience.
  • Recommend potential banking center expansion, relocation, consolidation, and closure in coordination with ATM placement and digital/phone capabilities.
  • Support workforce analysis by developing and/or utilizing existing tools to optimize capabilities based on market insights and expected return.
  • Evaluate community impact in collaboration with Corporate Compliance and External Affairs regarding banking center changes.
  • Develop executive presentations to express strategic direction and justification, including benchmarks and metrics.
  • Develop action plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Secure financial investment for banking center actions through special projects and financial planning.
  • Oversee execution of banking center actions to ensure alignment with strategic direction and escalate potential risks.
  • Provide executive updates on progress, outcomes, and potential obstacles.
  • Work with BI&R, sales enablement, product, and marketing teams to align deployment with sales insights and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor sales team performance against targets, providing feedback and actionable insights.
  • Utilize data analysis to provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies and achieve Retail business objectives.
  • Identify areas of potential growth and customer segments to drive revenue growth.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and risks.
  • Assist with model documentation and validation activities, including vendor oversight and contract management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong analytical mindset and business acumen.
  • Experience in retail banking or financial services.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
