About the position

The Retail Bank Development Program Analyst/Associate at PNC is designed for recent college graduates to explore their potential through hands-on experience in retail banking. This 18-month accelerated program focuses on developing future leaders in the Retail Banking sector, providing training in sales, technical skills, and leadership. Participants will engage in various banking activities, including client relationship management and financial wellness solutions, while gaining insights into the organizational structure and operations of PNC's Retail Banking services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform or assist in banking activities, including researching clients or prospects and creating targeted calling lists.
  • Schedule, attend, and lead client or prospect appointments, creating presentations and proposals as needed.
  • Proactively acquire new clients through effective prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Handle relationship management activities with new and existing clients to ensure exceptional client experiences.
  • Provide ideas and insights to clients based on their needs and financial goals.
  • Interact with internal and external clients to gather information and expand existing client relationships.
  • Participate in social learning and networking with business representatives and peers.
  • Engage in formal learning to develop necessary skills for the role.

Requirements

  • Recent university/college graduate with a relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in a business-relevant major such as Finance, Accounting, IT, Economics, Marketing, etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities relevant to the role, including accuracy, analytical thinking, and effective communication.

  • Experience in sales or customer service roles.
