About the position

As a Retail Cashier and Front End Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers in locating products, providing solutions to their inquiries, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. You will be the face of our store, engaging with customers and promoting our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, while also educating them about our Voice of Customer (VOC) survey. In addition to customer service, you will be involved in various operational tasks such as truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining store recovery standards. This includes completing merchandise recovery and maintenance, ensuring that the store is well-merchandised and in-stock. You will also participate in Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), and support shrink and safety programs. Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies is essential to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements. Your role will require you to interact positively with customers and team members, promoting a respectful and accepting environment. You will also be cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production, allowing you to assist in various areas of the store as needed. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the overall operations of the store.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in shopping the store.
  • Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience.
  • Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store.
  • Maintain store recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises.
  • Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
  • Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, completing enrollments.
  • Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
  • Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return/go back process.
  • Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, promoting commitment to the organization's vision and values.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members.
  • Be cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
