About the position
Banting's Nursery is seeking a vibrant Retail Cashier Associate for its retail department. The ideal candidate should possess excellent customer service skills and be tech-savvy. While knowledge of plants is not mandatory, an interest in plants and gardening is considered a plus. This full-time position requires a friendly and proactive personality.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service at the cash register
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Assist customers with inquiries and product information
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Participate in training sessions as required
- Work weekends as needed
Requirements
- 1 year of retail sales experience (preferred)
- 1 year of merchandising experience (preferred)
- 1 year of customer service experience (preferred)
