About the position
The Retail Cashier at AAA Club Alliance is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while driving sales in a dynamic retail environment. This role involves processing transactions, managing financial responsibilities, and utilizing sales expertise to promote AAA products. The position offers a consistent work schedule with no Sundays and a focus on work-life balance, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals passionate about customer service and sales.
Responsibilities
- Handle payments for all store transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Reconcile daily transactions and prepare bank deposits at the end of each shift.
- Greet and assist customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
- Utilize sales skills to consistently upsell and cross-sell AAA products, including memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of sales and customer service experience, particularly in a cash handling position.
- Effective written and oral communication skills for engaging customers and articulating the value of AAA memberships.
- Proficiency in computer skills essential for multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results.
