About the position

Join AAA Club Alliance as a Retail Cashier and unlock your sales potential in a dynamic retail environment where every interaction counts. In this role, you will be responsible for processing transactions, handling payments efficiently, and providing exceptional customer service. Your sales expertise will be crucial as you upsell and cross-sell AAA products, including memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals. You will also reconcile daily transactions and prepare bank deposits at the end of each shift, ensuring financial accuracy and accountability. At AAA Club Alliance, we value work-life balance, offering a consistent schedule with no work on Sundays and convenient hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturday, 9 AM to 1 PM, resulting in a 37.5-hour work week. Responsibilities

  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle payments for all store transactions.
  • Reconcile daily transactions and prepare bank deposits at the end of each shift.
  • Greet and assist customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
  • Utilize sales skills to upsell and cross-sell AAA products, including memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of sales and customer service experience, particularly in a cash handling position.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills for engaging customers and articulating the value of AAA memberships.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and ability to navigate multiple websites and programs in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results, including criminal, drug, and state/vendor specific screenings.
