The Retail Cashier at AAA Club Alliance plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while driving sales success in a dynamic retail environment. This position involves processing transactions, managing financial responsibilities, and utilizing sales expertise to promote AAA products. The role offers a consistent schedule with no Sundays and a supportive work-life balance, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals passionate about retail and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Handle payments for all store transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Reconcile daily transactions and prepare bank deposits at the end of each shift.
  • Greet and assist customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
  • Utilize sales skills to consistently upsell and cross-sell AAA products, including memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of sales and customer service experience, particularly in a cash handling position.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills for engaging customers and articulating the value of AAA memberships.
  • Proficiency in computer skills essential for multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results.
