About the position
The Co Team Leader (CTL) at Ollie's will provide leadership for the successful operation of the sales floor and receiving area in a new store opening in Savannah, GA. This role involves creating and leading a passionate sales team, ensuring a positive associate and customer experience, and overseeing various operational aspects including merchandising, associate development, and financial management.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Team Leader with managing payroll budgets, expenses, and store banking.
- Oversee shrink reduction and ensure timely completion of related reports to meet financial and operational goals.
- Demonstrate exceptional associate and customer service experiences by embodying Ollie's core values.
- Ensure that store standards, seasonal transition planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet operational expectations.
- Develop and execute talent planning to ensure associate growth.
- Ensure proper scheduling and staffing to meet business needs.
- Perform all functions to open and close the store when needed and fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate or bachelor's degree related to Business Management preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer.
- Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
- Must have a valid Driver's license.
