About the position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking an enthusiastic part-time Retail & Community Engagement Manager to join our dynamic team in Twin Falls, Idaho. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about food quality, customer service, and community engagement. As a Retail & Community Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our guests while promoting our unique menu that includes scratch-baked bread, pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches made with honest, whole ingredients. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a team that values collaboration and community involvement. In this position, you will be expected to greet and welcome guests, assist with merchandising, and manage daily operations related to basket making, stocking shelves, and personal shopping assistance. You will also play a key role in community engagement by organizing and leading fundraising events, partnering with local schools, and facilitating partnerships with realtors and title companies to drive gift basket and catering sales. Your ability to actively listen to guests and suggest meal and gift items will be crucial in enhancing their experience at Kneaders. The ideal candidate will possess a "can do" attitude, be quick to learn from mistakes, and proactively assist other departments as needed. Availability during peak lunch hours on weekdays and flexibility to work additional hours during the busy holiday season is essential. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding food handling and sanitation standards. Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests to the brand.
  • Assist with merchandising and daily basket making.
  • Stock shelves and provide personal shopping assistance.
  • Manage inventory and maintain cleanliness and organization.
  • Assist front of house restaurant operations when needed.
  • Attend and participate in weekly management meetings.
  • Engage local schools for Knead Dough Fundraiser events.
  • Host community partnership fundraising events.
  • Collaborate with marketing and home office for brand-wide events.
  • Facilitate partnerships with realtors and title companies to drive sales.

Requirements

  • 1+ years customer service/retail experience.
  • Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate varying shifts based on customer traffic and time of year.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
