About the position

The Sales Support Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the store's success by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining operational efficiency. This position involves direct interaction with customers at the cash wrap, managing stockroom activities, and supporting sales floor operations to create a welcoming shopping experience. The associate is responsible for accurately processing transactions, organizing stock, and contributing to a visually appealing sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly service at the cash wrap.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the cash wrap area.
• Accurately operate the POS system and handle cash transactions.
• Receive and process shipments and transfers in the stockroom.
• Organize and clean the stockroom daily, including offsite locations as needed.
• Replenish the sales floor and execute visual merchandising tasks as directed.
• Analyze sales floor needs and communicate effectively with customers regarding product availability.
• Support sales activities and maintain housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of previous retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills, including mobile POS.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Physical ability to maneuver the sales floor and stockroom, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
