About the position

As a Counter Manager in the Macy's Cosmetics Department, you will oversee all aspects of a cosmetics line, including managing a team of Beauty Advisors. Your role will involve engaging with customers to understand their beauty preferences, providing consultations, and applying makeup and products. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets while fostering a collaborative and creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspire teamwork to reach sales goals and enhance customer experience.

• Review and analyze business performance of sales results on various time scales.
• Develop and implement business-driving events to achieve department goals.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in cosmetics or retail management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively, providing guidance and support.
• Proficiency in vendor line(s) and beauty trends.
• Strong analytical skills to utilize metrics and analyze sales reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
• Ability to think creatively and strategically to address business challenges.
• Attention to detail in handling daily tasks and examining reports.
