About the position

As a Counter Manager in the Macy's Cosmetics Department, you will oversee all aspects of a cosmetics line, including coaching a team of Beauty Advisors. Your role will involve engaging with customers to understand their beauty preferences, enhancing creativity through consultations, and achieving sales targets through effective management and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Inspire teamwork to reach sales goals and enhance the customer experience.
  • Create lasting connections with customers passionate about cosmetics, beauty, and fragrance.
  • Review and analyze business performance of sales results on various time scales.
  • Develop and implement business-driving events to achieve department goals.
  • Supervise proper presentation, organization, storing, and replenishment of stock.
  • Sell merchandise through effective customer service techniques and professional selling skills.
  • Meet and exceed personal and company sales goals.
  • Collaborate with vendors for optimal business outcomes and manage vendor events and promotions.
  • Maintain compliance with all hygiene standards.

Requirements

  • Capability to utilize metrics and analyze detailed reporting for action plans.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Careful attention to detail in handling daily tasks and examining reports.
  • Partnership with the Prestige and total Beauty team to drive line sales.
