As a Senior Customer Experience Colleague at Macy's, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience by actively engaging with customers and providing personalized service. Your primary responsibility will be to sell merchandise and meet customer needs, whether in-store or through virtual selling platforms. You will be expected to drive enterprise-wide cross-category selling, achieving sales goals and contributing to sales growth while ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. In this role, you will utilize your product knowledge to make informed recommendations to customers, focusing on aspects such as size, fit, and style. You will engage with customers throughout their shopping journey, leveraging tools like My Client and social media to build and maintain client relationships. Collaboration with peers and store leadership will be essential as you work to problem-solve and enhance the customer experience based on daily feedback. You will also be responsible for maintaining the selling floor presentation according to company directives, ensuring that fitting rooms are ready for customers, and managing the receipt and setup of new merchandise. Your duties will include performing store opening and closing procedures, utilizing Point of Sale (POS) systems, and participating in events that drive sales and customer engagement.
