About the position

As a Retail Customer Experience Associate at Macy's Tuttle Crossing Mall, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience by providing personalized service and driving sales across various platforms. This full-time position emphasizes a customer-centric approach, requiring you to engage with customers both in-store and virtually, ensuring their needs are met while promoting merchandise effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience by selling merchandise and meeting customer needs in-store and online.
• Assist customers with product recommendations focusing on size, fit, and style using product knowledge and digital resources.
• Engage with customers to build and grow client relationships using outreach tools and social media.
• Develop and maintain relationships with peers and store leadership to problem-solve for the best customer outcomes.
• Share customer feedback daily to improve the customer experience.
• Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems and other store technology to assist in selling and fulfilling customer orders.
• Partner with the store team and community partners to develop and host events that drive sales.
• Maintain selling floor presentation and ensure fitting rooms are customer-ready.
• Receive and set up new merchandise according to visual guidelines.
• Perform store opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

• Good understanding of the products being sold and ability to provide expert guidance to customers.
• Comfortable communicating with customers virtually, via phone, and in person.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and achieve sales goals.
• Familiarity with point of sale technology and applications.
• Self-driven to keep up with product knowledge and trends through Macy's educational resources.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
• Ability to collaborate with the team to drive sales and enhance customer experience.

Nice-to-haves
